Welcome!

Welcome to this week's edition of the DCS Charter Chatter! We're excited to share the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged. Make sure to check out teacher updates on parent square every Friday!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our Parent Teacher Conferences for Trimester 1 will be held on our early dismissal day of Friday, November 7th! Please be on the lookout for signups from our teachers.

To ensure that all families have an opportunity to meet with the teacher of their choice, we kindly ask that each parent/guardian sign up with only one teacher during the scheduled conference times.

If you would like to meet with an additional teacher, please feel free to reach out to them directly via email or ParentSquare to request a meeting at a different date and time.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to accommodate all families. Thank you for your continued support.

Students and teachers are gearing up for the end of the trimester! Many classes have upcoming finals, so make sure you are checking out the parent square Friday messages from teachers!

Our Jog a Thon is coming up! We are looking for sponsors for our Jog a Thon. If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor, please click the link for the Sponsor Letter. All proceeds from our Sponsors goes towards helping purchase shirts for our students: Jog a Thon Sponsor Letter

FREE STEM Event San Joaquin Event, November 15

Hello,

This is a friendly reminder that registration for STEM San Joaquin closes on October 15. There are still a few seats available for this free event designed especially for 6th through 9th grade students interested in science and mathematics.

Cost: Free (includes lunch and event shirt!)
